A fresh and freckled face has made its mark on the runways of the world’s four major fashion cities. Give the faux freckle trend an update by adding a wash of blush to cheeks for an adventurous look with a hint of pastoral appeal.
TIPPING POINT BY M·A·C ARTISTRY DIRECTOR ASHLEY RUDDER:
1. Even skin tone with a sheer satin finish using Studio Waterweight SPF 30 Foundation.
2. Wash the apples of cheeks with Powder Blush (Duo) / Lucky Red and drag the colour backward and downward across the cheeks. Choose one shade from the Duo or mix both together.
3. Swirl a 188S Brush into the concealer of your choice from the M∙A∙C Studio Conceal And Correct Palette / Extra Deep until the fibres start naturally separating, then stipple the concealer across your cheeks and/or nose.
4. Create even tinier spots by dotting on freckles in the same areas with Shape + Shade Brow Tint in the shade of your choice.
Pro Tip: Press out and diffuse any faux freckles that seem too opaque with a fingertip.
